📱 Colombian Innovation on CNN
CNN in Spanish featured the "Spectra" App in the article titled "A Colombian app helps control Chikungunya".
The SPECTRA application is currently the only application that helps monitor, manage, and collect data of interest for the control of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, which transmits dengue and Zika.

AZC is advancing all matters concerning the protection of intellectual property of such an important development. The application facilitates experts' analysis of insect behavior and allows the geographic location of breeding sites to be set using GPS coordinates.
According to the Pan American Health Organization, the Zika virus has spread to more than 20 countries, making SPECTRA a tool of global value.
